Discover the art of screen printing in this hands-on, four-week workshop designed to take you from your first single-color print to creating vibrant, multilayered designs!
During the first two weeks, you'll learn the fundamentals of screen printing using photo emulsion. Working from your own photographs, sketches, or original designs, you'll explore how to prepare and expose a screen, set up a printing press, apply ink, and create a series of single-color posters.
In weeks three and four, you'll build on those skills to explore multicolor printing. Learn how to combine screen filler techniques with photo emulsion to create layered compositions, experiment with color, and produce two- to three-color prints with added depth and detail.
Each three-hour session offers a relaxed, creative environment with a small, intimate class setting that allows for personalized instruction, experimentation, and plenty of hands-on studio time.
By the end of the workshop, you'll have gained practical screen printing skills and created a collection of original prints to take home.
