The classroom

Located on the second floor of the Makerspace, the classroom is a flexible space designed to support community learning, creative instruction, and hands-on programming. The room includes tables, chairs, a utility sink, and adaptable setup options to accommodate a variety of classes, workshops, meetings, and small group experiences.

This space can be used in two ways:

Classroom Rental
Organizations, businesses, and community partners may rent the classroom for meetings, trainings, private workshops, or other space needs.

Workshop Programming
Instructors may use the classroom to offer ticketed workshops. These are programs coordinated by the instructor/renter with participants paying to attend. Workshop bookings in the classroom are available as half-day or full-day rentals between 8AM and 8PM. Half-day bookings include up to 6 hours of access.

By offering classes and workshops at the Makerspace, educators become part of a growing creative and entrepreneurial community dedicated to artistic expression, skill sharing, innovation, and small business growth in downtown Ellsworth. Each program helps strengthen 16 State as a vibrant community resource where people can learn, connect, and create.
